COUNCIL
ABOUT US
The Council is comprised of experts on the patterns and symbols used in the region throughout generations and their subsequent evolution. The Council looks at the textiles not only in terms of their visual patterns, but also the color schemes, purpose, occasions of use, descriptions, history and myths attached to them.
The Council members are the guardians of the knowledge of their people, in relation to their weaving art, and also with other aspects of their community culture.
